A hidden word, a category hint, and six wrong guesses to spare. Each wrong letter draws one more part of the figure (head, body, two arms, two legs), and the sixth ends the round.

Getting started
- Read the hint. The word's category (fruit, animal, job) shows on the scoreboard before your first guess.
- Pick a letter. Click the on-screen keyboard or type directly on your computer keyboard.
- Got one? The letter appears in every position where it occurs, all at once.
- Missed? The letter is dimmed on the keyboard and one more part of the figure is drawn.
- Finish. Reveal every letter before the sixth miss.
Controls
Mouse or trackpad
Click a letter on the on-screen keyboard. Used letters are disabled: green for a hit, dimmed for a miss.
Touch
The on-screen keys have a comfortable tap height and rearrange themselves to fit the width of your device.
Keyboard
Type the letter directly: any key from A to Z counts as a guess. Tab also cycles through the on-screen keys, and Enter activates the one in focus.
Tips that work for this game
- Start with the vowels. E, A, and O show up in almost every English word and reveal the skeleton of the word without spending many chances.
- After the vowels, try T, N, S, and R: they're the most common consonants in English and usually break the deadlock.
- The category hint isn't decoration: with the category and two vowels revealed, the number of possible words usually drops to a handful.
- No word in the game has a hyphen, space, or apostrophe. If your guess only works with one of those, it's wrong.
- Count the letters before guessing. Four-letter and nine-letter words call for different opening guesses.
